Gangs Of Wasseypur: An Emotion

  Today is the 10 years anniversary of Gangs of Wasseypur. Gangs of Wasseypur is the movie I think I have watched 16th times or even more, I don’t know. It’s an emotion. It can resonate with any feelings: happy, sad, joy, anger…everything. Even in the time when I was feeling like not watching anything, that time also I end up getting playing Gangs of Wasseypur on my pc. It was not only the most influential cinema ever made in the Hindi film industry but also the most influential cinema made in the whole world in the last decade. In the word of Martin Scorcese, “It was inspiring”. Exactly Ten years ago what Anurag Kashyap made, I bet he also didn’t think that this movie would divide the Hindi cinema into two eras, the Post-GOW era and the Pre-GOW era.
